The opportunity
Please note Heart & Stroke offers a hybrid work option. Candidates will need to have the flexibility to work from the office (Yonge & Eglinton) at least 1-3x per month and occasionally more, based on the needs of the business.
Heart & Stroke is seeking a seasoned brand marketer who is driven to make a meaningful difference in the health of Canadians. The Senior Brand Marketing Manager is responsible for the development, delivery, and implementation of integrated brand and fundraising campaigns, shaping campaign strategy in partnership with senior stakeholders and providing day-to-day leadership across complex, cross-functional initiatives. This role translates organizational priorities into cohesive, insight-led strategies that align Brand, Fundraising, Mission, Communications, Media, and Analytics teams. Working in close partnership with the Director, the Senior Brand Marketing Manager is expected to demonstrate a high degree of independence, leading campaign planning and execution within a fast-paced, continuous marketing cycle. With three major campaigns delivered annually, the role requires an experienced marketer who can independently drive progress, manage competing priorities, and make informed decisions while ensuring seamless coordination across teams throughout the campaign lifecycle.
How you will make an impact every day
Marketing Strategy Development & Campaign Planning
Translate strategic priorities into integrated, market-facing campaigns working in close partnership with internal teams including Mission, Fundraising, Communications and others
Campaign Management & Execution
Own implementation and execution of marketing campaigns including production, French translation, trafficking, securing required approvals and ensuring adherence to brand standards Manage campaign budgets and timelines, proactively identifying risks, resolving issues and escalating as needed to keep work on track
Provide clear direction and timely feedback to agencies and vendors (media, creative, production), ensuring deliverables meet brief, quality and brand requirements
Campaign Monitoring
Lead the development of a 360-post campaign performance report aligning the Media Manager, Digital, Analytics, Communications and Fundraising teams to deliver a holistic view of campaign performance
Talent Management
Lead talent development, ensuring high standards, competence and that staff is well supported in fulfilling their accountabilities, developing their skills and achieving their career potential.
As required, recruit skilled talent in support of current and future Foundation needs, following Foundation policies, interviewing methodology and assessment guidelines.
Familiarize and comply with all Heart & Stroke policies while ensuring accurate administration of employee related information: absence records, vacation, title, etc.

This role offers a hiring range of $95,000 to $125,000, aligned with our compensation framework and your professional background.
