Position Overview
We are seeking an expert-level Senior Integration Developer with Intelligent Automation experience to design, build, and govern mission-critical enterprise automation and integration solutions on Workato and Boomi, with a specialized focus on Legal systems integration. This role spans core iPaaS, API management, and Generative AI/Agentic Orchestration, driving digital transformation of Legal operations, establishing platform governance, and mentoring junior developers.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deploy complex, multi-step Recipes and Boomi processes end-to-end for performance and scale
- Build and manage autonomous AI Agents (Genies) in Agent Studio with internal context and secure actions
- Implement IDP workflows for extraction/classification from unstructured Legal content (contracts, filings)
- Govern secure API endpoints on the API Platform/Gateway (proxies, rate limiting, OAuth/JWT)
- Build bulk ETL/ELT and data-sync pipelines using Data Tables and FileStorage
- Support hybrid connectivity via On-Premise Agent (OPA), databases, and private networks
- Work with SFTP, REST, SOAP, and application-specific connectors
- Manage event triggers/publishers for Kafka, Amazon SQS, and other message brokers
- Oversee governance and operations, including RBAC, SSO, audit trails for AI Agent actions, Smart Versioning, and deployment promotion
- Manage Git/GitHub for repos, branches, and PRs, and CI/CD for recipes
- Monitor production systems, proactively diagnosing failures and tuning for cost/efficiency
- Provide on-call support for high availability
- Build UX automation and human-in-the-loop solutions using Workbot (ChatOps), Workflow/AgentX Apps, and Slack integrations
- Support business application integrations across CRM, HR, Finance, LMS, Legal, Budget & Forecast, and collaboration platforms
- Write custom scripts (Ruby, Python, Java, Groovy, or JavaScript) and build custom connectors via Connector SDK and Developer API
- Contribute to documentation, best practices, and use of Community Library/AI Copilots to accelerate delivery
- Mentor junior developers and support technical leadership across the team
Required Qualifications
- Experience with the Workato platform, including recipe design, job execution, nested logic, advanced data transformation (Ruby/Python), reusable callable functions, governance, and administration
- Hands-on Boomi integration experience
- Experience with Legal systems (CLM, e-signature, matter/litigation management, compliance/e-discovery - e.g., Ironclad, DocuSign, Evisort)
- Experience with financial integrations (AP, AR invoice, GL accounting/journals, bank/treasury)
- Experience with supply chain (SCM) integration
- Scripting experience (Java, Groovy, JavaScript, or Python)
- Experience with data synchronization/ETL-ELT, including bulk/batch actions
- API management experience (API Gateway, secure endpoints, proxies, rate limiting, OAuth/JWT)
- Experience with developer tools (Connector SDK and/or Developer API)
- Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, Amazon SQS)
- Experience with Workflow & AgentX Apps, including human-in-the-loop steps
- Experience with Agentic AI (Agent Studio Genies, AI governance including RBAC/audit trails, and IDP)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their integration services
- Familiarity with legal tech standards, contract data models, and GDPR/SOC 2
- Workato Certified Automation Pro III or equivalent certification
- Experience with Legal-domain Accelerator implementations
