Working with experienced estimators and project teams, you will contribute throughout the estimating process while continuing to strengthen your technical and commercial skills. * Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements to understand scope, identify risks, and clarify issues. * Prepare quantity takeoffs, detailed estimates, and complete bid submissions. * Solicit, review, and compare subcontractor and supplier quotations. * Support value engineering and cost-optimization initiatives. * Assist with estimate reviews, tender closings, clarifications, and negotiations. * Collaborate with estimating and project teams to deliver complete, competitive pricing. * Support the preparation and coordination of responses to requests for qualifications (RFQs) and requests for proposals (RFPs), helping ensure submissions are complete and aligned with client requirements. * Assist in maintaining current labour, material, and historical project-cost data to support estimates and business-development opportunities.
