Original job description
We are creating a new category of enterprise intelligence.
HEIS - the Human Energy Intelligence System is a risk intelligence platform designed to help organizations detect workforce strain, cognitive overload, recovery deficits, leadership pressure and other forms of human capacity risk before they become operational failures.
The company is already beyond the idea stage.
HEIS has a developed product thesis, proprietary human-energy intelligence methodology, enterprise pilots and conversations underway, global research underpinning the category, and a commercial model spanning enterprise SaaS, pilots, benchmarking and IP.
I'm now looking for the technical person who should help build this company with me.
Not an outsourced developer.
Not someone looking for a side project.
A technical cofounder.
What you'll own
You will ultimately own HEIS's technical architecture and engineering organization, including:
Enterprise SaaS architecture
Data ingestion and integration
Analytics and scoring infrastructure
Privacy-preserving signal processing
M365, Google Workspace and HRIS integrations
AI/ML architecture where it creates genuine value
Enterprise security and compliance readiness
Product scalability and reliability
Engineering recruitment and technical culture
Initially, that means being willing to build.
Over time, it means building the engineering organization around you.
Who I'm looking for
You have built serious software before.
Ideally, you have experience in enterprise SaaS, analytics, data infrastructure, workforce technology, AI/ML, security, productivity technology or adjacent systems.
You can move between architecture and execution.
You understand that enterprise software isn't finished when the demo works.
Security, reliability, data governance and integration matter to you.
You can sit with a Fortune 500 executive, understand the business problem, and translate it into technical decisions.
Most importantly, you want to build something consequential.
Why HEIS
Organizations measure revenue, utilization, risk, cash, customer sentiment and almost every other resource required to operate.
They still have remarkably poor visibility into the human capacity powering all of it.
HEIS exists to change that.
We're not trying to build another engagement survey.
We're building an intelligence infrastructure for understanding human energy as an enterprise risk and operating variable.
Structure
Full-time cofounder role.
Meaningful founder-level equity, with cash compensation increasing following financing.
North America preferred; exceptional candidates elsewhere considered.
If the idea of creating an entirely new enterprise intelligence category makes you curious, I'd like to meet you.
