*About helloDarwin* helloDarwin is an advisory firm that helps Canadian businesses find and obtain grants, tax credits and other government funding. Based in Montreal, our team of 50 has supported SMEs since 2017. Our platform tracks more than 5,000 federal, provincial and municipal programs, which allows us to identify the best opportunities for each client and structure their investment projects over 12 to 36 months. We work primarily with manufacturing, food & beverage, energy and innovation-driven companies generating $10M to $50M+ in annual revenue across Canada. *The Role* We're looking for a Sales Representative (Account Executive) to manage and close qualified opportunities in Ontario and the rest of Canada. This is a consultative sales role: you'll guide business leaders through the analysis of their projects, build a realistic funding plan with them and steer them toward the right helloDarwin offer. The role starts after qualification by our business development team and ends with the handoff to our advisory team. *Key Responsibilities* * Lead grant discovery meetings with business owners and leadership teams. * Understand clients' investment projects, business priorities and constraints. * Present a high-level grant plan and position helloDarwin's offers. * Actively manage post-discovery follow-ups through to signed proposal and the client's first payment. * Build quotes according to internal pricing rules and obtain the required approvals. * Present and explain proposals, handle objections and close deals. * Work with the billing team on signature and payment. * Ensure a clear, structured handoff to the Account Manager / production team. * Maintain a clean, up-to-date and predictable pipeline in the CRM. *What we're looking for* * 2 to 5 years of B2B sales experience (services, consulting, SaaS or similar), including deals you closed yourself. * Comfortable speaking with business owners and decision-makers. * Organized and disciplined about follow-ups. * Experience with a CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive or similar). * Assets: selling to manufacturing, food & beverage, energy or tech companies; interest in grants and public funding. *Compensation* $70,000 to $175,000 per year (base salary plus uncapped commission). *Location* * Fully remote. You may be asked to come to our Toronto office 1 to 2 days per month. Plus occasional travel to Montreal. *What your first weeks will look like* You'll start with a structured onboarding plan. You'll review our sales playbooks, listen to recorded meetings and sit in on live ones. After onboarding, you'll run sales calls in pairs with a teammate, until you're ready to lead your own. Your manager reviews your first quotes with you before they go out. *Why helloDarwin?* * 80 to 90% qualified leads: you focus on selling, not cold prospecting. * Short sales cycle (typically 4 to 8 weeks). * A clear, documented sales process and hands-on coaching. * Clear career growth, with an evaluation every 4 months. * 4 weeks of vacation from day one. Pay: $70,000.00-$175,000.00 per year Benefits: * Casual dress * Company events * Dental care * Disability insurance * Employee assistance program * Extended health care * Flexible schedule * Life insurance * Paid time off * Work from home Work Location: Remote
