StudyGlow is an early-stage EdTech startup building an AI-powered desktop application designed to support all learners, with dedicated accessibility features for students who are blind or deaf. We are currently in active development, moving quickly toward finishing our market-ready prototype.
The Opportunity: Please note: We are a pre-revenue, bootstrapped startup. This is not a traditional salaried position.
We are looking for a driven Backend Developer to join as a founding team member. Compensation for this role is strictly based on equity and profit-sharing upon our successful launch. We are building this from the ground up together, and if it succeeds, we share the rewards.
Who We Are Looking For:
- Drive over experience. We do not require years of corporate experience. We are looking for ambitious programmers who want to step outside of tutorials and build a real, high-impact product.
- An entrepreneurial mindset - you are willing to invest your time, energy, and skills into a startup in exchange for a stake in the product.
- Familiarity with (or a strong, fast-learning approach to) backend programming, desktop application architecture, and AI integration.
- A deep passion for accessibility and building technology for social good.
What You Will Do:
- Collaborate directly with the founder to finalize and implement the backend architecture of the desktop application.
- Securely integrate advanced AI models while maintaining strict user privacy and offline capabilities.
- Solve complex technical challenges to help push the product through development and into the hands of users.
