We are seeking a Full Stack Developer to join a high-performing software engineering team building and enhancing production-grade applications and services. This role is ideal for a developer who enjoys working across the technology stack - from user interfaces and APIs to backend services, databases, testing, and deployment.
You will be involved throughout the software development lifecycle, delivering scalable and maintainable solutions while collaborating closely with developers, architects, QA, product teams, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack software applications and production services.
- Build responsive and user-friendly front-end applications using modern JavaScript frameworks and technologies.
- Develop scalable backend services, APIs, and integrations to support application and business requirements.
- Design and implement efficient data models, database structures, and queries using relational and/or document databases.
- Translate business and technical requirements into high-quality, production-ready software.
- Participate in architecture and technical design discussions and contribute to engineering decisions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following established development standards and best practices.
- Develop and maintain automated unit, integration, and functional tests.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback to other developers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, performance issues, and production incidents.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and release activities.
- Use Git and modern development practices to manage source code and collaborate effectively.
- Identify opportunities to improve application performance, scalability, security, reliability, and maintainability.
- Work effectively in an Agile/Scrum environment, contributing to sprint planning, estimation, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools where appropriate to improve productivity, code quality, testing, and problem solving.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2+ years of professional software development experience delivering production applications.
- Demonstrated experience developing across both front-end and back-end technologies.
- Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern web development.
- Experience with at least one backend technology such as Java/J2EE, Node.js, C++, or similar.
- Hands-on experience developing and consuming REST APIs and working with backend services.
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar.
- Strong understanding of software development principles, object-oriented programming, and modern engineering practices.
- Experience with Git and source-control workflows.
- Experience working with Jira or similar ticket/project management tools.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative engineering team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with React, Angular, Vue.js, or another modern front-end framework.
- Experience developing backend services using Java/J2EE, Node.js, C++, Go, or similar technologies.
- Experience with microservices and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and test-driven development.
- Knowledge of application performance monitoring, logging, and observability.
- Experience working with AI-assisted development tools or Agentic AI technologies.
- Experience modernizing, migrating, or refactoring existing applications.
- Experience working in telecommunications, networking, cloud, or other high-tech environments.
