Design and build RESTful APIs, integrations, and backend services.
Contribute to scalable platform and system architecture, including technical design and architectural decisions.
Own backend solutions throughout the application lifecycle, including design, development, enhancement, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable backend and platform solutions.
Optimize application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
Participate in code reviews and follow engineering best practices.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and contribute to continuous improvement of the platform.

Requirements

5–10+ years of backend software development experience.
Strong professional experience with Python backend development.
Demonstrated experience designing and building web application platforms from the ground up.
Strong understanding of backend application design, development, architecture, and ongoing maintenance.
Experience developing and maintaining production-grade web applications and backend platforms.
Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and OpenAPI.
Solid understanding of system design, scalable architectures, and distributed applications.
Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications
