Responsibilities
Install electrical conduit, fittings, boxes, receptacles, switches, wiring, cable trays, and data cables, and install breakers, panels, disconnects, and transformers. Interpret blueprints and schematics, maintain power distribution systems, and participate in the on-call rotation.
Requirements
A Journeyperson Red Seal ticket is required, along with the ability to prioritize work independently and as part of a team. Candidates should communicate effectively, mentor apprentices, learn additional skills on the job, and understand electrical systems, technical drawings, safety regulations, and electrical codes.
