Responsibilities
Install traffic signal and streetlight structures, troubleshoot streetlights and cable faults, and install and maintain traffic signals and power distribution systems. Interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics, and survey and grade stakes while following highway safety regulations.
Requirements
Applicants must hold a Journeyperson Red Seal ticket and have experience with streetlights, trenching, and traffic signals; IMSA Traffic Signal certification is an asset. The role requires prioritization, effective communication, the ability to work independently or with a team, and the ability to teach and mentor apprentices.
