Job Title: Change Management Analyst
Location: Alberta, Canada
Work Arrangement: Onsite – 5 days per week
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:15 AM–4:30 PM Alberta Time
Contract: Up to 18 months
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Change Management Analyst to support a complex transformation initiative within the Strategic Procurement Office. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused position responsible for developing and executing change management deliverables, facilitating stakeholder engagements, and supporting implementation readiness and adoption.
The successful candidate will work closely with project teams, business and operational stakeholders, ministry representatives, and suppliers to ensure impacted groups are prepared for changes to processes, systems, and ways of working.
This position is ideal for a change management professional who enjoys hands-on execution and creating practical deliverables, rather than providing strategy or advisory support alone.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute change management deliverables supporting business, process, and system transformation initiatives.
- Conduct stakeholder and change impact assessments to identify affected groups, processes, and business areas.
- Develop change strategies, readiness plans, communication materials, and stakeholder engagement plans.

- Presentations
- Training content
- Job aids
- Quick reference guides
- FAQs
- End-user support materials
- Lead and facilitate stakeholder and supplier workshops, working groups, demonstrations, walkthroughs, alignment sessions, and information sessions.
- Work directly with project, business, operational, ministry, and supplier stakeholders to gather information and validate requirements.
- Support supplier enablement activities, including supplier impact assessments, segmentation, communications, onboarding, training, readiness, and adoption.
- Develop and coordinate training and user-support materials for new or modified processes, systems, and business practices.
- Support implementation readiness, transition planning, pilot activities, phased rollouts, and post-implementation adoption.
- Draft, review, and quality-check communications and change materials to ensure accuracy, consistency, plain language, and alignment with program standards.
- Track change-related activities, deliverables, risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Collaborate with project and program teams to ensure change activities are delivered on time and aligned with implementation priorities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in change facilitation.
- 4+ years of experience developing change management deliverables, including change strategies and related artifacts.
- 4+ years of experience developing communication materials for stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience facilitating stakeholder workshops, working groups, and engagement sessions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to translate complex project changes into clear, practical, audience-specific materials.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- PROSCI or CCMP certification.
- 3+ years of experience developing and delivering training materials, including supporting documentation.
- 3+ years of experience developing readiness programs, training programs, or stakeholder engagement initiatives.
- 2+ years of experience gathering requirements through interviews, document analysis, workshops, and stakeholder discussions.
- 3+ years of experience working on digital transformation initiatives within the Government of Alberta.
- Experience working with suppliers or external partners in a transformation environment.
- Experience supporting large-scale business, process, or technology transformation initiatives.
