Role Description The Sheet Metal Worker role at Homecraft Saunas is a full-time, on-site position based in Surrey, BC. Day-to-day responsibilities include cutting, shaping, and assembling sheet metal components used in sauna heaters and related products. The role involves operating hand tools and metalworking equipment, following technical drawings, and performing quality checks to ensure all parts meet company standards. The Sheet Metal Worker will collaborate with production and engineering teams, maintain a clean and safe work area, and adhere to safety and manufacturing procedures. This position may also include basic welding tasks, equipment setup, and occasional assistance with prototype or custom product builds.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Sheet Metal and Metalworking, including cutting, forming, and assembling metal components.
- Candidates should possess skills in Hand Tools and basic shop equipment, with the ability to use them safely and accurately.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements.
