Role Description The Stock Associate is a part-time, on-site role based at Honey’s Toronto, ON boutique. This role is responsible for receiving shipments, unpacking merchandise, and organizing stock in the backroom and on the sales floor. Daily tasks include verifying quantities against packing slips, tagging and steaming items, replenishing floor inventory, and maintaining clean, orderly stock areas. The Stock Associate supports loss prevention by accurately tracking inventory, reporting discrepancies, and following store procedures. This role also assists with basic customer service needs, such as locating sizes, supporting fitting room flow, and helping the sales team ensure a smooth, efficient shopping experience.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Shipping & Receiving, including checking deliveries, handling merchandise, and completing related documentation.
- Candidates should possess skills in Inventory Control, including organizing stock, tracking counts, and replenishing product on the sales floor.
- Candidates should possess skills in Retail Loss Prevention, including following security procedures and reporting inventory issues or irregularities.
- Candidates should possess skills in Customer Service and Communication, including interacting professionally with shoppers and collaborating with team members.
- Previous retail or boutique experience is beneficial, especially in fashion apparel or accessories.
- Ability to lift, move, and organize merchandise and to stand for extended periods is required.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment are important.
- Availability to work a flexible part-time schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
