House of McGrath is an upscale restaurant and brewery in the heart of downtown Toronto. Our guests join us for refined dining, house-brewed beer, a considered cocktail and wine program, and private events for some of the city's leading companies. The Opportunity
We are looking for a reliable, energetic Busser to keep service at House of McGrath running seamlessly. You will keep the dining room immaculate, support servers during service, and learn the fundamentals of fine hospitality from an experienced team. No fine dining experience is required: many great servers and bartenders start here, and we are glad to help you do the same.
What You'll Do
- Clear and reset tables promptly with clean linens, glassware and cutlery
- Assist servers by running food and drinks and refilling beverages
- Stock service stations and complete side work throughout the shift
- Keep the dining room, floors and service areas clean and tidy at all times
- Support opening and closing duties and help the team through peak periods
- Follow health and safety standards on every shift
What You Bring
- A positive attitude, reliability and a strong sense of teamwork
- Attention to detail and pride in a job done properly
- Ability to stand, lift and move quickly throughout a busy shift
- Previous restaurant experience is an asset, but not required
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and holidays
