Role Description This full-time Interior Designer role is hybrid, with primary work based in Victoria, BC and flexibility for some work from home. The Interior Designer will collaborate with the design team to develop residential concepts, space plans, and interior layouts aligned with project goals and client preferences. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing design presentations, selecting finishes and FF&E, producing and coordinating construction drawings, and maintaining accurate project documentation. The role also involves participating in client meetings, incorporating feedback into design revisions, coordinating with designers and contractors, and ensuring that designs are practical, code-compliant, and aligned with budget and schedule requirements.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills for residential projects.
- Candidates should possess Architectural and Construction Drawings skills to support detailed design documentation.
- Candidates should possess FF&E knowledge, including selection of finishes, fixtures, furnishings, and equipment.
- Candidates should be proficient in 3D design tools and BIM software, with strong visual communication skills. Our office works in Revit / Enscape / D5.
- Candidates should demonstrate attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Candidates should have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors.
- A diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, and relevant residential experience, are preferred.
