I'm working with an elite FinTech firm that's looking to hire talented Python Developers who enjoy building complex, scalable applications and solving challenging engineering problems.
Role: Software Developer (Python)

Compensation: Up to CAD $200k + bonus
Location: Montreal (Hybrid)
What you'll be working on:
- Developing and supporting backend systems that power advanced platforms and analytical tools capable of processing large-scale datasets in real time.
- Building scalable software solutions with a strong focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Collaborating with product teams, engineers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into robust, production-ready features.
- Contributing to a well-engineered codebase by writing clean, efficient code that supports long-term system growth and stability.
What we're looking for:
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong commercial experience developing production-grade applications using Python.
- Full-stack development experience is beneficial, with React experience being a plus.
- Previous exposure to trading or FinTech environments is advantageous but not essential.
- A genuine curiosity for technology and a desire to stay up to date with modern frameworks, tools, and engineering best practices.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
