We are Hush - a premium bedding company driven to help people optimize their lives through sleep. Founded in 2017 after becoming famous for our luxurious and effective weighted blankets, we quickly grew to develop a functional line of sleep essentials that includes pillows, sheets, mattresses, duvets, and loungewear. And we’re not done yet.
People know us from our successful deal on the business reality TV series Dragon’s Den, our bold social media content, our Iced technology and products that help hot sleepers sleep comfortably, and the way we change their lives (not to be dramatic).
Description D'emploi
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Performance Marketing, the
Manager, Paid Social will own and grow Hush’s paid social program. This is a high-impact role with real ownership and visibility. You’ll be responsible for building and communicating a full-funnel paid social strategy that drives efficient customer acquisition and revenue growth for Hush. You’ll own our paid creative strategy, deciding what we make, why, and how we test it. You’ll also lead our measurement approach, so every dollar we spend is proven to be incremental. We’re looking for someone equally fluent in creative and data: someone who can spot a winning hook and also read a lift study. You’ll work closely with our creative, brand, and ecommerce teams to make sure every dollar drives measurable growth.
Paid Social
In this role you will:
- Plan, build, and manage paid social campaigns across Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok, Reddit, and emerging platforms
- Own campaign performance end-to-end, from audience targeting and budget management through to reporting for key stakeholders
- Analyze campaign data daily, identify trends, and optimize toward ROAS, CAC, and revenue goals
- Own the paid social creative strategy, defining the right mix of hi-fi and lo-fi static, video, UGC, motion, and carousel formats across platforms and funnel stages, along with the angles, hooks, and messaging behind them
- Build and run a structured creative testing roadmap with clear hypotheses across concepts, hooks, formats, and messaging, and turn the results into learnings that shape every new brief
- In partnership with the Creative team, brief and test ad creative, including static, video, and UGC formats, giving clear direction and actionable feedback and share performance insights regularly so they shape future creative strategy using creative performance data (hook rate, hold rate, CTR, CPA by concept). You set the strategy, and the creative team owns production.
- Monitor creative fatigue and manage refresh cadence so the account always has a pipeline of new winners
- Source and manage UGC creators through creator marketplaces and UGC platforms (e.g. Meta’s creator marketplace). This includes writing creator briefs, securing usage rights, and getting content ready for paid
- Deploy UGC and creator content through Spark Ads and Partnership Ads, and amplify top-performing influencer content from the brand team
- Support running incrementality tests, including geo holdouts and conversion lift studies, as well as brand lift studies, to measure the true impact of paid social
- Use marketing mix modelling (MMM) alongside platform and attribution data to guide budget allocation across channels and tell the story of what’s really driving growth
- Work as the liaison with Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, and Reddit partner teams to set up lift studies, and stay ahead of platform updates
- Collaborate with the Brand Manager so that paid social, UGC, influencer, and organic social work together and reinforce Hush’s brand positioning
The Qualifications And Experience We Like To See
- University Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline
- 4-7 years of hands-on paid social experience, ideally at a DTC, ecommerce, or retail brand
- Deep expertise in Meta Ads Manager, plus hands-on experience with TikTok, Pinterest, and Reddit Ads
- A solid understanding of the ecommerce funnel, pixel tracking, and attribution models
- A proven track record of managing significant ad budgets and hitting performance targets
- Equally strong on creative and numbers. You can build a creative strategy and judge an ad’s potential, and you’re just as comfortable in the data proving what works
- Proven experience owning paid social creative strategy and testing frameworks, with a track record of finding winning concepts across hi-fi and lo-fi static, video, and UGC
- Hands-on experience with incrementality testing, conversion and brand lift studies, and MMM, and the ability to turn results into budget and strategy decisions
- Experience sourcing and briefing UGC creators through creator marketplaces or UGC platforms, including managing usage rights
- Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Highly organized with strong project management skills, able to manage multiple campaigns and creative tests at once with attention to detail
