Hyatt Regency Vancouver is seeking a dedicated, experienced, detail-oriented professional to join the
Sales & Marketing team as
Marketing Manager.
In this role, the Marketing Manager supports and report to the Director of Sales & Marketing and is responsible for leading the hotel’s on-property marketing efforts and strengthening its visibility, reputation, and commercial performance in local, national, and international markets.
The primary focus of this role is activating the hotel's social media strategy, including content development for Hyatt Regency Vancouver and its food and beverage outlets. The Marketing Manager also support digital marketing, public relations, sales communications, online reputation management, community engagement, strategic partnerships, and revenue-generating initiatives.
The role works closely with Rooms, Food & Beverage, Sales, Human Resources, hotel leadership, Hyatt’s corporate teams, agencies, vendors, and community partners to deliver cohesive marketing initiatives that build awareness, depend engagement, and drive measurable business results.
Candidates must be flexible with their work schedules to accommodate business demands, including occasional early mornings, evenings, and/or weekends.
Salary range: 81,000 – 100,000 per year
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Develop , plan, and execute approved content strategies across social media and digital channels for the hotel and its food and beverage outlets.
- Manage the day-to-day appearance, voice, and content quality of the hotel’s social media platforms, including editorial calendars, scheduling, photography, video, and creative storytelling.
- Create engaging content that showcases the Hyatt Regency Vancouver experience and supports awareness, engagement, bookings, and digital revenue.
- Obtain and administer photo releases and ensure all content meets Hyatt brand, legal, and privacy requirements.
- Serve as the marketing liaison between Sales & Marketing, Rooms, Food & Beverage, other hotel departments, and Hyatt’s corporate teams.
- Execute relevant corporate marketing initiatives at the property level and provide formal results summaries to key stakeholders.
- Develop, maintain, and distribute on-property promotional collateral while ensuring compliance with Hyatt brand standards and visual identity.
- Act as the property webmaster by coordinating website updates with Hyatt’s corporate digital content team and supporting quarterly website audits.
- Track , analyze, and report on marketing initiatives, campaigns, promotional performance, and return on investment.
- Champion CRM initiatives and online reputation management, ensuring timely, thoughtful, and brand-aligned guest engagement.
- Work with the Director of Sales & Marketing to evaluate promotional opportunities and develop promotions, partnerships, and activations that support hotel revenue and marketing objectives.
- Research and coordinate approved advertising, public relations, communications, and media opportunities with corporate vendors and agencies.
- Provide recommendations on media placement, target audiences, messaging, and campaign objectives.
- Participate in Hyatt brand training and development sessions and help maintain brand image and integrity at the property level.
- Support Human Resources in coordinating and promoting the hotel’s community involvement and Sustainability initiatives.
- Help position the hotel as a responsible corporate citizen by highlighting community partnerships and charitable impact.
- Support Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives and ensure marketing activities and content are inclusive and representative.
- Develop and manage marketing assets in Hyatt Brand Manager (HBM).
- Host and coordinate the hotel’s monthly marketing meetings, including agendas, updates, action items, and follow-up.
- Manage local marketing expense planning and processing.
- Identify new marketing opportunities that support the needs of the hotel’s various business segments.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required.

Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of marketing, communications, public relations, or related experience; hospitality experience is preferred
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Hospitality Management, or a related discipline is an asset
- Must be available to work various shifts to accommodate business demands, including occasional early mornings, evenings, and/or weekends
- Experience in the Food & Beverage industry is preferred, with a strong understanding of marketing across multiple outlets, dining concepts, and customer experiences
- Proven ability to develop and execute creative marketing concepts that support brand, business and revenue objectives
- Demonstrated experience creating graphic content using Canva, Photoshop, or similar platforms
- Proficiency in photo and video editing software is required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer office systems is required
- Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Ability to translate ideas into completed initiatives with clear objectives, timelines, and success measures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation and interpersonal abilities
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across departments, including guests, groups, colleagues, leaders, vendors, agencies, and community partners
- Strong knowledge of Vancouver’s community, culture, tourism landscape, and regional market
- Self- motivated, collaborative, and forward thinking in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with guests, groups, colleagues, leaders, vendors, and partners across departments
