Original job description

Graduate Management Trainee

Midtown Toronto | On-Site

Bring the energy. Build the skills. Grow with Hype.

At Hype Events, we believe great teams are built by people who are supported, challenged, and given room to grow. Our Management Trainee Program is designed for ambitious, coachable individuals who want to learn the business from the ground up and develop into leadership.

You won’t be sitting around waiting for your turn. You’ll be learning, contributing, collaborating, and taking on more responsibility as you develop.

Your Path to Management

01 - Sales & Marketing: Start on the front lines, learning face-to-face marketing, customer engagement, brand representation, and campaign performance.

02 - Team Leadership: Build leadership habits by supporting, training, and motivating teammates while learning what it takes to create a strong team culture.

03 - Administration & Operations: Learn the business behind the campaigns - including recruiting, onboarding, scheduling, reporting, team coordination, and daily operations.

04 - Project Management: Put it all together by taking ownership of campaigns, projects, and team initiatives while learning how to plan, execute, and improve.

What We’re Looking For

People-focused and confident communicators
Coachable, curious, and ready to learn
Team players who bring positive energy
Goal-oriented and accountable
Comfortable taking initiative and learning from feedback
Previous sales, marketing, retail, hospitality, or customer-facing experience is an asset, but not required

Why Hype?

People. Performance. Progress.

We invest in our people, hold ourselves accountable to performance, and believe every day is an opportunity to get better. You’ll receive hands-on training, mentorship, cross-training, and real-world experience while working alongside a team that genuinely wants to see you succeed.

We work hard, keep the energy positive, and believe great teams create great experiences.

Hype Events is an Equal Opportunity Employer hiring for ongoing full-time employment. This position is a T4 role, fully onsite in Midtown, Toronto. If you’re ready to build your skills, find your fit, and grow with Hype - let’s build something together.
