Role Description The Sales Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based at our location in Gatineau, QC. This role is responsible for welcoming customers, understanding their needs, and guiding them through vehicle selection, test drives, and purchase options. Day-to-day tasks include presenting Hyundai products and features, explaining financing and leasing options, preparing purchase documentation, and following up with prospects and existing customers. The Sales Specialist collaborates with the sales and service teams to ensure a smooth customer journey and supports dealership promotions, events, and training activities. The role also involves maintaining product knowledge, updating the CRM system, and meeting individual and team sales targets in a professional and ethical manner.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain products and financing options clearly.
- Proven Customer Service capabilities, including active listening, problem solving, and a client-centric approach.
- Demonstrated Sales experience, with the ability to identify needs, present solutions, and close sales effectively.
- Background in Training or coaching, and familiarity with Sales Management principles is an asset.
- Knowledge of automotive products or willingness to learn Hyundai vehicles and technologies.
- Comfort working with CRM systems, basic computer applications, and digital tools.
- Ability to work on-site, including evenings or weekends as required by dealership hours.
- Fluency in English; bilingual proficiency in French and English is highly beneficial.
- Previous experience in retail, automotive, or related sales environments preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business or a related field is an asset.
