Founded in 2015 by Ish Chopra and Meenu Seda and headquartered in Canada, the name “IM” is derived from the initials of our founders. It reflects the partnership, shared vision, and entrepreneurial drive that brought the company to life, while also expressing a philosophy rooted in aspiration, identity, and self-expression: I am Fit. I am Home. I am Loved.

Our History Our story began in Canada with Gyrocopters, the brand that defined our foundation. We were the first to offer UL-2272 certified hoverboards, setting a new benchmark for safety and reliability in personal mobility. At a pivotal moment for the industry, we brought trust, quality, and accountability to a fast-moving category. From hoverboards to electric scooters and beyond, Gyrocopters established us as leaders in e-mobility.

Our Evolution As our customers evolved, so did we. What began as a mobility-first company grew into a broader vision of modern living. This natural progression led to the creation of our lifestyle sub-brands: IMFit, IMHome, and IMLoved. Each one represents a distinct pillar of everyday life, supporting movement, wellness, comfort, and connection through thoughtfully designed products.
