Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Functional Technical Specialist (FTS) to support, maintain, and enhance Oracle EBS R12.2 applications. The role involves application support, troubleshooting, business requirement analysis, reports and customizations, integrations, and system enhancements. The candidate should have strong functional and technical expertise in Oracle Financials, HRMS, Payroll, OTL, SQL/PLSQL, BI Publisher, Oracle Workflow, WebADI, Forms & Reports, and Oracle EBS R12.2.x.
Deliverables
The position will perform the following tasks:
- Provide techno-functional support for Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12/R12.2.x environments.
- Support Oracle Financials, HRMS, Payroll, and OTL modules.
- Gather business requirements and prepare functional and technical design documents.
- Analyze, design, develop, test, and deploy Oracle EBS customizations and enhancements.
- Develop and support Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Workflows, and APIs (RICEFW).
- Create and maintain BI Publisher reports, XML Publisher reports, and Oracle Reports.
- Develop SQL and PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and data-fix scripts.
- Design and maintain Oracle Forms, Concurrent Programs, Value Sets, and Flexfields.
- Integrate Oracle EBS with third-party applications using APIs and Open Interfaces.
- Support payroll processing, payroll costing, reconciliations, and statutory compliance activities.
- Configure payroll elements, balances, Fast Formula, and payroll workflows.
- Support employee lifecycle processes including hiring, transfers, promotions, and terminations.
- Configure and support OTL timecard rules, approval workflows, and payroll integration.
- Manage Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Invoice-to-Pay business processes.
- Support supplier management, invoice validation, payment processing, PPR, and PPP activities.
- Perform AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and SLA support activities.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolution to business users.
- Perform query optimization and database performance tuning.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), SIT, and Production deployments.
- Coordinate change management, release management, and application migrations.
- Execute Oracle EBS cloning, patching, and environment refresh activities.
- Support Oracle Database administration activities and database upgrades.
- Assist in Oracle EBS R12/R12.2 upgrade projects and post-upgrade validation.
- Monitor application performance and proactively identify improvement opportunities.
- Work with cross-functional teams to deliver business process improvements.
- Create technical documentation, solution designs, SOPs, and knowledge-base articles.
- Manage incidents, service requests, and problem tickets through ServiceNow and Jira.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, audit requirements, and security standards.
- Provide end-user training and knowledge transfer for Oracle EBS processes.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial and payroll processing activities.
Qualification
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related discipline. Oracle certifications preferred.
Experience
Essential:
- Required 5-7 Years of experience.
