Senior Analyst – Gas Scheduling
Location: Calgary, AB (Onsite Only)
Duration: 1 year
Work Model: 40 hrs./week average | Shift-based (Early 7 am–3:30 pm, Late 11 am–7:30 pm, Weekend 7:30 am–7:30 pm)
About the Role
We’re seeking a Senior Analyst – Gas Scheduling to join our team. This role is critical in facilitating gas scheduling on the Westcoast pipeline system, ensuring timely and accurate completion of gas cycles with high business impact. Shift work is required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage nominations and scheduling cycles per NAESB deadlines using LINK gas management system.
- Handle contract administration: renewals, amendments, approvals, and customer support.
- Provide proactive customer service, training, and issue resolution.
- Maintain documentation, recommend process improvements, and support system testing.
Qualifications
Required:
- 2+ years scheduling or industry experience.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Customer service orientation and ability to work under pressure.
- Proficiency with computer systems; team-oriented mindset.
Preferred:
- Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of Westcoast pipeline system and natural gas markets.
