Location: 333 Bay Street. Toronto, ON, M5H 2R2
Major Responsibilities:
- Build, execute and support of an effective bank-wide AML/ATF Program, specifically supporting the Know Your Customer (KYC) process within the Bank and its lines of businesses.
- Provide a range of research, guidance, support and/or advice to branches and business units to ensure the AML/ATF and KYC controls and processes are in effect to mitigate associated risks.
- Provide guidance to the business on day-to-day AML/ATF matters in accordance with regulatory compliance requirements, payments, regulatory reporting and industry standards that support KYC, and due diligence, as well as the underlying policy and governance,
- Offer support and advice in terms of regulator and industry standards for KYC and AML.
- Subject matter expert in AML and KYC/EDD
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree and background in related field combined is required.
- 4-5 years of experience in the commercial banking in an advisory or AML SME role
- Demonstrated knowledge of or experience in AML/ATF Compliance and KYC
- A comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements and legislation, including FINTRAC Guidance, PCMLTFA, OSFI Guidance, Retail Payments Association Guidance and regulations
Special Requirements:
- Certification in a professional association such as ACAMS or ACFCS is considered an asset.
