Role: Senior .NET Full Stack Developer
Location: Toronto, Canada(Hybrid- 2 Days onsite every week)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior .NET Full Stack Developer with 8 years of professional software development experience to design, develop, maintain, and enhance web applications and services. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, RESTful services, T-SQL, JavaScript, and jQuery, along with experience working with existing enterprise applications.
This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to code quality, and the ability to collaborate effectively with development, QA, and business teams in a remote/nearshore environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using C#, ASP.NET MVC, and Web API.
- Build and consume RESTful APIs for front-end and system integration requirements.
- Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and database logic.
- Build and maintain responsive front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Diagnose and resolve application bugs, performance issues, and technical debt.
- Maintain and enhance existing application codebases.
- Collaborate with developers, QA, product, and business stakeholders to deliver features on schedule.
- Participate in code reviews and follow established coding standards and development best practices.
- Communicate project progress, technical decisions, and blockers clearly and on time.
- Document code changes, technical decisions, and development processes as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 8 years of professional software development experience.
- Expert-level proficiency in ASP.NET MVC.
- Strong experience with C#.
- Strong experience building and consuming Web API / RESTful services.
- Solid experience with T-SQL, including stored procedures, functions, query optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience maintaining and extending existing applications and codebases.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with source control systems such as Git, TFS, or Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with IIS deployment and configuration.
- Experience with Dependency Injection, Unit Testing, and .NET Design Patterns.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Availability to provide required overlap with US business hours.
- Prior experience working in a nearshore/remote contract environment.
Preferred / Nice to Have
- Exposure to modern front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.
- Experience with enterprise application modernization and technical debt remediation.
- Experience supporting distributed development teams.
