Reporting directly to the President and CEO, you will lead a dynamic, integrated portfolio spanning people and culture, finance, facilities, procurement, fleet, information technology, and protection.

WHAT YOU WILL LEAD
- Enterprise strategy and stewardship: Define the strategies, programs, policies and frameworks that guide the responsible management of human, financial, physical, fleet and technology resources.
- Financial leadership and accountability: Provide strategic advice, oversight and a modern financial management framework that supports integrity, effective planning and sound decision-making within a Crown corporation.
- One coordinated corporate-services portfolio: Oversee payroll, accounting, IT systems and desktop support, data analytics, employee assistance, learning, labour relations, occupational health and safety, facilities, accommodations, materiel management and corporate security.
- Executive partnership: Advise the President and CEO, Members of the Board of Trustees, executive colleagues, senior leaders and employees on the resource implications of short- and long-term priorities.
- External representation: Represent Ingenium with central agencies and departments
- Culture and organizational effectiveness: Foster accountability, collaboration, empathy, inclusion, accessibility and continuous improvement across a complex, multidisciplinary environment.
WHAT YOU BRING
Education and professional credentials
- A bachelor’s degree in commerce, business administration, human resources management or a related discipline.
- An MBA or master’s degree in a related field is an asset.
- A relevant professional designation, such as CPA or CHRP/CHRL, is an asset.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
Executive experience
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in corporate services and/or human resources, including five years in a leadership capacity.
- A record of leading change initiatives in a large organization and managing a broad, interconnected mandate.
- Experience working across functions and with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
YOUR LEADERSHIP STRENGTHS
- Strategic and systems thinking, with the ability to translate organizational priorities into practical plans, services and decisions.
- Deep knowledge of modern corporate services delivery, including technology-enabled solutions and processes.
- Broad understanding of financial management, data analytics, risk, performance measurement, business review, continuous improvement and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of labour and employment law, including the Canada Labour Code, Canadian Human Rights Act and Official Languages Act, as well as relevant public-sector management practices.
- Expertise in interest-based negotiation, collective bargaining and dispute resolution.
- An inclusive, collaborative leadership style that supports teamwork, coaching, mentoring and accountability.
- Excellent judgment and the ability to identify emerging issues and develop pragmatic, proactive solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both official languages
