Your Contribution!
The candidate will play a key role in the preparation of consolidated financial information. They will be able to apply their expertise in consolidation and reporting through various opportunities for process optimization and continuous improvement. They possess an analytical mind, critical thinking skills, and demonstrate sharp professional judgment.
Your Day-to-Day!
Participate in the quarterly and annual preparation of consolidated financial statements and management reports;
Play a key role in the monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation process for multiple entities spread across various countries and currencies;
Prepare analyses and reconciliations for the financial statement line items under your responsibility;
Draft quarterly and annual notes to the consolidated financial statements;
Participate in the quarterly and annual preparation of financial statements for various entities;
Actively participate in various special projects and perform various analyses as needed;
Provide support to other departments within the company on accounting matters.
Your Skills, Our Requirements!
- A minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar role.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
Hold a recognized accounting designation (CPA)
Experience in a similar position at a major accounting firm (“Big Four”) or a public company with multiple subsidiaries
Strong knowledge of IFRS; knowledge of US GAAP is a plus
- Experience managing multiple currencies is a plus
Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement skills
Excellent ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities
- Sense of initiative and accountability
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
- Self-reliance and the ability to learn quickly
- Bilingualism (French and English, both spoken and written) is required to facilitate ongoing collaboration with various stakeholders outside Quebec.

The position is based at the company’s headquarters in Longueuil, steps away from the Longueuil-Université de Sherbrooke metro station.
This position is at the P3 level.
