Role Summary: As a Global Customs & Trade Compliance Manager, you'll and play a key role in ensuring global trade compliance, optimizing customs processes, and driving supply chain efficiency across our international operations.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Realization of potential savings through the optimization of the supply chain and the associated customs burden
- Preparing and submitting customs declarations and other required documentation
- Communicating with government agencies to resolve customs-related issues
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all customs transactions
- Working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with customs regulations and the commerce control list
- Classifying and valuing imported goods in accordance with customs regulations and staying up-to-date on changes in customs regulations and procedures
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Certification as a Customs Specialist (e.g. Certified Customs Specialist or Customs Broker License)
- Experience with trade agreements (e.g. Free Trade Agreements, USMCA, etc.)
- Knowledge of import/export regulations, procedures and documentation requirements
- A degree or certification in logistics, supply chain management, international trade, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in customs clearance and compliance
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations and trade compliance procedures
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP software (Oracle)
- Competence to explain complex regulations in simple, clear language while maintaining a customer-first approach.

The salary range for this position is $91,440 CAD - $125,730 CAD, which will be determined based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
