JOB DESCRIPTION
Shift: Nightshift
Location: Cambridge, ON
Employment: Full-Time Permanent
Pay: $80,000-$90,000
Insight Global is seeking a Warehouse Assistant Manager to oversee evening warehouse operations supporting Toyota manufacturing operations. This individual will be the highest-ranking leader on shift, providing leadership to approximately 100 employees through a structure of team leaders and group leaders while ensuring quality, productivity, safety, and on-time delivery standards are met.
- Lead evening warehouse operations supporting Toyota production requirements.
- Oversee group leaders and team leaders across warehouse functions.
- Ensure accurate picking and distribution of Toyota-owned parts supporting RAV4 and Lexus production.
- Uphold quality standards and maintain operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with transportation and logistics partners.
- Monitor productivity against takt time requirements and customer demand.
- Coach, mentor, and develop front-line leaders and warehouse associates.
- Act as the senior decision-maker on shift for approximately 100 employees.
- Utilize warehouse systems and computer-based inventory processes to ensure pick accuracy and operational performance.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years of leadership experience as a Group Leader, Supervisor, or equivalent within automotive manufacturing or automotive logistics.
- Strong understanding of takt time and production flow principles.
- Experience working with transportation providers, logistics operations, or supply chain functions.
- Proven ability to manage employee performance, provide coaching, and address behavioural or soft-skill issues.
- Experience leading large frontline teams in fast-paced environments.
