JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is looking for a Senior Power Platform / Canvas Apps Developer to join an application development team supporting Contact Centre business partners.
This is a highly hands-on development role focused primarily on designing, developing, customizing, and deploying Microsoft Power Apps Canvas applications. The team develops internal applications used by Contact Centre agents and business partners to improve workflows, processes, and day-to-day operations.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building Canvas Apps from scratch and supporting a portfolio of Power Platform applications. This team manages a significant application environment, so they are looking for someone who has developed and supported 10–20+ Power Apps, rather than someone whose experience is limited to one or two applications.
This role will be approximately 70–80% hands-on development and 20–30% meetings and collaboration with Virtual Connect business partners. The developer will work directly with stakeholders to understand requirements and then own the technical delivery of the solution from end to end, including development, testing, troubleshooting, release, and production support.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, with a heavy focus on application development
- Advanced experience developing Power Apps Canvas Apps from scratch
- Experience with Canvas App customization, configuration, enhancement, and ongoing production support
- Experience working across a large portfolio of Power Apps, ideally having developed or supported 10–20+ applications
- Strong Power Automate experience building workflows and automations supporting Power Apps
- Strong SQL coding skills and experience working with underlying data sources
- Experience gathering requirements directly from business stakeholders and translating them into technical solutions
- Experience owning the full development lifecycle from requirements → design → development → testing → release → production support
- Ability to independently troubleshoot, enhance, and maintain existing applications
- Strong communication skills and ability to develop relationships with both technical and non-technical business partners
- Ability to balance a primarily hands-on development workload with stakeholder meetings and requirements gathering

- Microsoft Power Platform certification/licensing knowledge
- Experience with Model-Driven Apps
- Experience with Copilot Studio
- Experience with Power BI
