JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is seeking a Process Development Engineer to join a top aerospace company in Longueuil, QC. This role is 5x week onsite, with flexible hours.
The Process Development Engineer will be responsible for the development, implementation, and industrialization of manufacturing processes mainly on machining technologies and the transition to 4.0 industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops manufacturing processes in the field of machining technology.
- Supports production by solving complex problems.
- Support SME on day-to-day tasks
- Collaborates on the acquisition of manufacturing equipment.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical Engineering (DEC in Machining considered a strong asset)
- 1-3 years of experience in the development of manufacturing processes or manufacturing technologies.
- Good knowledge of metallurgy or material science
- Strong understanding of 2d/3d technical drawings
- Strong understanding of machine tool equipment
- Fully bilingual French/English
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Hands on machining experience
Compensation:
$23/hr to $44/hr
