Job Title: Machine Builder (Certified 433-A)

Salary Range: $70,000 - $100,000 CAD
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Machine Builder to join a growing manufacturing team supporting the assembly, installation, troubleshooting, and servicing of large industrial machinery and automation systems. The successful candidate will work primarily onsite in Concord and may travel throughout North America to support equipment installation and service at customer facilities.
This position requires extensive experience with large industrial machinery manufacturing, strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to interpret technical drawings, and a willingness to travel approximately 25% as required.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble, install, and service large industrial machinery and related automation systems according to engineering specifications.
- Read and interpret mechanical, technical, and schematic drawings to support machine assembly and troubleshooting.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues during machine assembly, testing, installation, and field service.
- Perform machine assembly using hand tools, power drills, impact drivers, sockets, wrenches, and other standard mechanical tools.
- Support equipment installation and commissioning at customer facilities in North America as required.
- Communicate effectively with customers, technicians, engineers, and other internal teams during machine installation and service activities.
- Identify non-conformances, potential equipment issues, and opportunities for process or quality improvements.
- Use milling machines, lathes, and hydraulic assembly equipment as required.
- Work at elevated heights of approximately 15 feet when required for machine installation or service.
- Work overtime when required to meet project and customer schedules.
- Follow company safety, quality, and operational procedures.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience working with large industrial machinery manufacturing, assembly, installation, or field service.
- Certified 433-A qualification is required.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical, technical, and schematic drawings.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with demonstrated experience troubleshooting industrial machinery.
- Hands-on experience assembling large industrial equipment and automation systems.
- Ability to use standard mechanical tools, including wrenches, power drills, impact drivers, sockets, and related equipment.
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 25% throughout North America for customer installations and service assignments.
- Ability to travel internationally for business purposes and maintain the required travel documentation.
- Ability to work safely at heights of approximately 15 feet.
- Willingness to work overtime when required.
- Strong communication skills are required to effectively coordinate with customers, technicians, and internal teams during equipment installation and service activities.
- Experience with milling machines, lathes, and hydraulic assembly is an asset.
- Ability to work fully onsite in Concord, ON.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
