IntelliStaff is seeking experienced Performance & Value-for-Money Audit Specialists for potential public-sector consulting opportunities in Nunavut.
These opportunities are suited to professionals experienced in evaluating government programs, services and activities to determine whether objectives are being achieved and resources are being used economically, efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Conduct performance and results-based audits
- Conduct value-for-money reviews
- Evaluate programs, services and activities
- Assess program objectives and expected outcomes
- Develop and assess KPIs, benchmarks and performance measures
- Evaluate economy, efficiency and effectiveness
- Review governance, management, oversight and control processes
- Analyze financial, operational and performance information
- Identify performance gaps, risks and opportunities for improvement
- Develop evidence-based findings and recommendations
- Prepare and present reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Public Administration, Economics or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Experience conducting performance audits, program evaluations or value-for-money reviews
- Experience evaluating KPIs and performance measures
- Strong analytical, research and report-writing skills
- Government or public-sector experience strongly preferred
- CPA, CIA or another relevant professional designation is an asset
- Nunavut, northern or Indigenous government experience is an asset
