The National Sales Manager will spearhead ILD’s sales efforts across the Greater Toronto Area. This leader will develop and execute strategic national sales initiatives, forge key relationships, and drive revenue growth in commercial roofing and waterproofing sectors. A deep understanding of detection and monitoring technologies, especially in a B2B and solutions-oriented environment, is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Develop and implement a robust national sales strategy aligned with ILD’s product offerings: EFVM®, Smartex®, and conductive mediums.
- Identify and prioritize target markets, such as roofing contractors, building owners, consultants, engineers, architects, commercial property managers, and facility management firms.
Pipeline & Revenue Growth
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline; meet or exceed revenue targets through new business wins and upselling to existing clients.
Relationship Management
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with national accounts, channel partners, and major clients ensuring long-term satisfaction and repeat business.
- Industry related organizational involvement.
Brand & Market Positioning
- Work closely with Marketing and Product teams to communicate ILD’s technological edge accuracy, 24/7 monitoring reliability, and global expertise.
- Educational presentations to targeted audiences on ILD’s services, products, and offerings.
Reporting & Analysis
- Deliver regular forecasts, performance reports, and market insights to senior leadership to inform decision-making and strategy.
Qualifications & Experience
Required:
- 7–10 years of B2B or technical sales experience, preferably in construction, roofing, waterproofing, building envelope, or technical services industries.
- Proven track record managing national accounts and closing large contracts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel 25- 30% nationally as required for client engagements and industry events.
- Connections & involvement with industry related organizations.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with ILD’s core technologies.
- Existing network in roofing, envelope consulting, or facility management sectors.
- Graduate degree (MBA or relevant field) is a plus.
- Industry credentials, CRCA, RRO, RRC, etc. is a plus.
