Role Description
This is a PART-TIME, on-site role for an Optometrist located in Lethbridge, AB. The Optometrist will perform comprehensive eye exams, diagnose and treat visual and ocular conditions, and provide expert recommendations to enhance visual health. Additional responsibilities include working collaboratively with other eye care professionals, recommending optical products, and delivering a superior patient care experience. The role requires adherence to professional standards and supporting the continued growth and reputation of IRIS The Visual Group.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in performing comprehensive eye exams, diagnosing, and managing ocular and visual conditions
- Proficiency in recommending and fitting optical products, including eyeglasses and contact lenses
- Ability to collaborate effectively with opticians, ophthalmologists, and other team members
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to provide outstanding patient care
- Commitment to upholding professional standards, ethical guidelines, and providing superior patient experiences
- Doctor of Optometry degree and licensure to practice in Alberta
- Experience in the eye care field and familiarity with modern diagnostic equipment is an asset
