IS2 Workforce Solutions is looking for an experienced CNC Machinist / CNC Operator to join a busy steel manufacturing facility in Holland Landing.
We’re looking for someone who combines hands-on CNC/manufacturing experience with strong Python programming knowledge and is comfortable working in a fast-paced shop environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Operating and monitoring CNC equipment in a steel manufacturing environment
- Working with Python-based programs and automation
- Developing, testing, and maintaining Python scripts
- Troubleshooting programming and operational issues
- Running programs and verifying outputs for accuracy
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiency
- Documenting programs, workflows, and procedures
- Working alongside production, engineering, and technical teams
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous CNC machining or CNC operating experience
- Experience working in a steel, metal fabrication, or manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of Python programming fundamentals
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable adapting to new equipment, technology, and processes
Location: Holland Landing, ON
Pay: $27+/hour – based on experience
Shifts: Day & Afternoon Shifts
