Job Title:
Senior C++ Software Developer
Duration: 6-12 Month Contract
Location: Hybrid - 3 Days In-Office

Principal Tasks and Responsibilities Include:
- Design and develop robust, scalable, and maintainable real-time applications with a strong focus on performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to evaluate requirements and contribute to solution design.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of complex software components.
- Develop automated solutions and supporting scripts to improve development, testing, and deployment processes.
- Contribute to continuous integration and deployment practices while supporting ongoing application enhancements.
Our Client
Our client is a large, established organization with a sophisticated technology environment supporting high-volume, business-critical applications.
Qualifications and Pre-Requisites:
- 10+ years of hands-on C++ development experience, ideally within complex, performance-sensitive environments.
- Strong experience designing and developing real-time and low-latency applications.
- 5+ years of Python scripting experience for automation, validation, or development support.
- Strong working knowledge of Linux environments, including command-line tools.
- University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
Nice to Have:
- Experience working with high-volume, transaction-based or other performance-critical systems.
- Knowledge of UML and software modelling practices.
- Experience working with CI/CD and automated testing practices.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
