Recovery happens in community. Since 1956, Island Community Mental Health has walked alongside adults living with mental illness across the Capital Regional District, supporting more than 1,000 people each year.
We deliver psychosocial rehabilitation through licensed care, supportive housing, and community programs for adults 19 and over. Every service we offer starts from one belief: each person holds the capacity to learn, grow, and move forward.
Island Community Mental Health serves adults living with mental illness. We work with the whole person, and we respect the choices each person makes about their own life.
Our services support people to live in their communities, keep housing, build skills, and connect with others. We stay involved as long as someone wants that support.
