We’re seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Talent Acquisition Partner to join our Construction & Equipment team. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping our organization's future by attracting and hiring the talent that drives our success. Recruitment experience in the heavy civil construction industry is strongly preferred, particularly experience supporting skilled trades, field operations, and other difficult-to-fill construction roles.

Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviews, assessments, candidate management, and hiring recommendations.
- Partner with Hiring Managers and HR to understand workforce plans, hiring forecasts, and talent needs.
- Strategically attract and source top talent for various roles through innovative strategies such social media advertising, community outreach, industry networks, and strategic partnerships.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical, specialized, and hard-to-fill positions.
- Coordinate and support recruitment initiatives, career fairs, hiring events, and partnerships with educational institutions.
- Maintain accurate candidate records, coordinate interviews and assessments, and ensure recruitment systems are up to date.
- Deliver a positive candidate experience through timely, professional, and transparent communication.
- Support additional talent acquisition projects and initiatives as required.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field (or equivalent)
- Registered Professional Recruiter (RPR) designation (or willingness to obtain) would be an asset
Skills & Experience:
- 2-5 years of recruitment experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Previous recruitment experience in the heavy civil construction industry is strongly preferred.
- Experience recruiting skilled trades, equipment operators, supervisors, project professionals, or other construction-related roles would be considered an asset.
- Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), preferably Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC).
- Customer-focused with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Energetic self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel occasionally.
