What You’ll Do
Responsible for end-to-end execution of Canada–U.S. cross-border import/export and courier shipments, including freight approvals, documentation, customs coordination, carrier communication, tracking, and final delivery.
Specific Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Execute end-to-end Canada–U.S. import/export shipments, including setup, documentation, carrier booking, customs coordination, and delivery follow-up.
- Identify cost savings through consolidation, equipment optimization, routing efficiencies, and effective use of cross-border capacity.
- Track shipments from pickup to delivery, resolving delays and providing status updates to internal teams, carriers, brokers, and customers.
- Perform freight audit for freight transactions & properly assign invoice for payment
- Coordinate import/export customs documentation and declarations.
- Communicate with stakeholders, brokers, forwarders, carriers, warehouses, and customers to support timely, compliant shipments.
- Maintain shipment records, including customs documents, approvals, expedites, PODs, and exceptions.
- Complete system entries for shipments, intercompany sales, import/export records, and logistics documentation.
- Assume additional responsibilities and/or perform special projects as needed or directed in support of customer service, traffic, and customs compliance
What You Bring
You bring curiosity, collaboration, and a desire to do meaningful work. You may bring:
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration and/or Logistics Designation
- +2 years in global logistics: cross border shipments.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word and Excel
- Experience maintaining relationships with 3rd party providers – e.g., Freight Forwarders, 3PLs, etc.
- Working knowledge of the transportation industry regulations, both international and domestic
- Experience with international freight forwarding and required documentation – experience with food/beverage/consumables an asset
- Proven analytical skills & comfort with data
- Familiarity with GMP an asset
- Excellent communicator with cross-functional experience
- Innovative, adaptable and routinely seeking continuous improvement
- Excellent problem-solving skills – proactive & reactive when necessary
- Ability to work under time sensitive situations on a regular basis
- Ability to communicate in a multilingual capacity an asset e.g., Mandarin, Spanish, Etc.

Compensation
Jamieson Wellness offers a competitive total rewards package designed to support your well-being and professional growth. This includes base pay, eligibility for our Short-Term Incentive Program, and a comprehensive benefits offering.
For this role, the posting range is $45,700 – $57,100, which reflects the full salary range of the position. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as relevant experience, level of education, role scope, and other professional qualifications aligned with the requirements and complexity of this position.
