Responsibilities
As a key member of our operations team, you will help ensure our production equipment runs safely, efficiently, and reliably. This role combines equipment operation with hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will:
- Operate production equipment in accordance with established procedures and safety standards
- Complete equipment start-ups, changeovers, adjustments, and quality checks
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues
- Perform preventative maintenance and corrective repairs
- Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and parts inventory information
- Support production staff and contribute to a safe and efficient workplace
- Participate in continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives
- Standing for extended periods
- Lifting up to 50 lbs
Technical Qualifications
- Technical diploma or certificate in Industrial Mechanic, Electrical - Industrial Maintenance and Controls Diploma, or equivalent combinations of education and experience
- 2+ years of experience in equipment operation, manufacturing, industrial maintenance, or a related field
- Experience working with motors, conveyors, sensors, pneumatics, or packaging equipment
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
Preferred Qualifications
- Red Seal Millwright certification
- Forklift certification (we are willing to provide training)
- Working around operating equipment
