About Jewish Federations of Canada – UIA (JFC-UIA)

Jewish Federations of Canada - UIA supports and furthers the work of Jewish federations and communities across Canada by focusing on three broad areas:

• Israel and Overseas (IO): By stewarding Canadian activities with the key partners and agents in Israel and overseas

• Advocacy: By overseeing the activities and programs of the Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs in its role as JFC-UIA’s advocacy agent

• National Collective Responsibility (NCR): By coordinating and implementing national and regional programs on behalf of the Canadian federations and communities

Mission: “To support Canadian Jewish federations and communities by increasing our philanthropic capabilities, national and international influence, connection to Israel and each other and capacity for collective thought and action. “
