JIA - CERJA

JIA-CERJA (Justice Impact Africa - Centre for Judicial Studies and Reform in Africa) is a Canadian non-profit organization with an international scope, dedicated to judicial reform, governance, human rights, and access to justice.

Based in Pincourt (Quebec), Canada, with an operational presence in West Africa (Lomé, Togo), JIA-CERJA positions itself as both a strategic think tank and an operational partner. We bridge the gap between international standards and local realities to build fair, inclusive, and effective justice systems.

Our mission: to promote and strengthen the rule of law by providing structural solutions to judicial system shortcomings, supporting states in establishing reliable judicial institutions, and offering top-tier expertise to technical and financial partners.

Our areas of intervention: - Criminal justice chain reform and judicial modernization - Rule of law and institutional governance - Access to justice for vulnerable populations - Transitional justice and reconciliation - Capacity building and judicial infrastructure - Applied research and institutional assessments

We support governments, international organizations, and donors in African, post-conflict, and transitional contexts - drawing on over 20 years of combined expertise in the rule of law and judicial reform.
