This is a hands-on learning and development role focused on strengthening sales enablement capabilities across client-facing and delivery teams. You’ll translate business priorities, capability gaps, and complex subject matter into practical, engaging, and scalable learning experiences. Working closely with business leaders, subject matter experts, and Learning & Development colleagues, you’ll own learning workstreams from needs assessment through implementation and evaluation. The role combines instructional design, content development, stakeholder partnership, and project management in a fast-paced professional services environment. You’ll create learning experiences across multiple formats, supported by modern learning technologies and AI-enabled tools. This is a full-time, temporary opportunity for a 5–6-month engagement with significant ownership and cross-functional impact.
Accountabilities
- Partner with Go-To-Market leaders and subject matter experts to identify learning needs, understand performance gaps, and translate business priorities into clear learning objectives and effective solutions.
- Design and develop engaging learning experiences across instructor-led, virtual, and digital formats, including presentations, toolkits, job aids, practice activities, assessments, and reinforcement resources.
- Apply adult learning and instructional design principles to determine appropriate learning approaches, modalities, sequencing, and reinforcement strategies.
- Curate and adapt existing internal and external content where appropriate to accelerate development and create cohesive learning experiences.
- Develop facilitator guides, participant materials, exercises, case studies, knowledge checks, and other resources that support effective learning and on-the-job application.
- Ensure learning materials are polished, accessible, consistent, and aligned with established learning, brand, onboarding, and program standards.
- Independently manage assigned learning projects from discovery and design through development, launch, and evaluation.
- Create and maintain project plans covering timelines, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, stakeholders, and responsibilities.
- Coordinate content development and review cycles across business leaders, subject matter experts, Client Engagement, Learning & Development, and other partners.
- Manage multiple concurrent initiatives while maintaining quality, meeting deadlines, and proactively addressing risks, dependencies, and scope considerations.
- Facilitate project meetings, design sessions, content reviews, discovery discussions, and stakeholder working sessions.
- Build trusted relationships with business leaders, subject matter experts, Learning & Development teams, and cross-functional partners.
- Lead discovery conversations to understand business context, target audiences, performance expectations, and learning requirements.
- Synthesize complex stakeholder and subject matter expert input into clear requirements, recommendations, content, and deliverables.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at different organizational levels, including senior leaders, while managing feedback, decisions, and next steps.
- Partner with external learning and content providers when needed, coordinating inputs, reviews, and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain digital learning content using tools such as Articulate 360 and support implementation through Workday Learning or comparable learning platforms.
- Conduct quality assurance and testing to ensure learning content and learner experiences function as intended.
- Use learning technology and AI-enabled tools to improve the efficiency, quality, and scalability of content development.
- Define appropriate measures of learning effectiveness and develop assessments, knowledge checks, surveys, and other evaluation methods.
- Analyze learner feedback, stakeholder input, and available learning data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Capture lessons learned, reusable content, and effective approaches that can support future learning initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in instructional design, learning experience design, or Learning & Development, with demonstrated ownership of learning deliverables and workstreams for adult learners.
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, curriculum development, and blended learning approaches.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements and subject matter into practical, engaging, and audience-appropriate learning experiences.
- Strong project and stakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to independently manage multiple priorities, timelines, deliverables, and relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and consulting skills, including discovery facilitation, information synthesis, recommendation development, and content creation.
- Experience in professional services, consulting, sales enablement, or another fast-paced, knowledge-based environment is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with PowerPoint and learning/content development tools such as Articulate 360.
- Familiarity with Workday Learning or another learning management system is preferred.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of client-oriented, performance-driven professional environments.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong follow-through and the ability to maintain quality while managing multiple workstreams.
- Comfortable working independently, exercising sound judgment, and adapting to evolving business priorities.
- Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and organizational levels.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage technology and AI-enabled tools to enhance learning development and delivery.
