Role Description The Business Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Montreal, QC. This position is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and promoting Jobumi’s video-first hiring solutions to organizations of various sizes. Day-to-day activities include prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting product demos and presentations, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new customers. The Business Development Manager will also analyze market trends, contribute to sales strategies, and provide feedback to product and marketing teams to support continuous improvement.

- Strong business development and sales skills, including lead generation, pipeline management, and deal negotiation.
- Relationship-building and account management abilities, with a focus on long-term client partnerships and customer success.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the capacity to explain technical and product concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Analytical and strategic thinking skills, including market research, competitive analysis, and opportunity assessment.
- Comfort with technology platforms and digital tools, ideally with exposure to HR tech or SaaS products.
- Proven ability to work on-site in a collaborative environment, manage time effectively, and prioritize multiple initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Previous experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably in technology or recruitment solutions, is an asset.
- Professional proficiency in English; French language skills are highly beneficial for the Montreal market.
