Joey's Group of Companies is a Calgary-based, family-founded group of food, hospitality, and real estate businesses built over 40 years of hands-on industry experience.
It started in 1985 when Joe and Theresa Klassen opened one of the first seafood restaurants in the Prairies. That single restaurant grew into Joey's Fish Shack and Streats Kitchens, now over 60 locations across Canada. Along the way, we built Teja Food Group to supply and distribute food products, and have since grown into a full platform spanning food manufacturing, wholesale distribution, retail brands, and commercial real estate development.
Today, Joey's Group is home to brands including Streats Kitchens, Joey's Fish Shack, Teja Food Group, Echelon Foods, Canadian Trade House, North Sea Fish & Farms, Made Foods, Prep Culinary, Healthy Selections, Craft Beef Co., Bessie Box, Waterford Farms, and Heritage Construction - employing 800+ people across North America.
