The Group Marketing & Renewal Analyst combines analytical work with client interaction, to support our nationwide advisor network and client base. The role supports a block of clients with their group quoting/marketing and in-force basic renewals, as well as collects, organizes and prepares key data to facilitate quoting/marketing support and renewal negotiation efforts.
Responsibilities
- Execute marketing and renewal activities on behalf of our partner advisors.
- Analyze carrier proposals for accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare side-by-side proposal comparisons, analyzing key factors such as cost, value, coverage scope, and overall competitiveness.
- Interpret and analyze claims reports to effectively negotiate renewals with carriers.
- Act as a key point of contact between insurance carriers and advisors, facilitating effective communication between stakeholders.
- Provide direct client support by responding to inquiries and assisting with issues, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
- Prepare high quality marketing, renewal, claims reporting packages for our partnering agencies with accuracy and clarity. Including data-driven recommendations to support informed decision-making conversations.
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing key data.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a group insurance underwriting or analyst role.
- Broad knowledge of group insurance products.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of non-refund financial arrangements, with high-level understanding of all financial arrangements including ASO and retention accounting.
- Effective problem solving, mathematical, analytical and negotiation skills.
- Capable of handling multiple tasks with varying degrees of complexity effectively while meeting strict deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with a demonstrated ability to quickly learn new software systems including AI based programs.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively when needed.
