About Joops AI
Joops AI helps brands and agencies design, produce and scale ad creatives using AI. Our platform pairs our own AI generation with performance feedback from ad placements, through direct integrations with Meta, AppLovin and other platforms. A network of creators and editors turns that into finished videos for our managed-service clients. The core team is rock solid and includes senior talent from Google and TikTok. We value experimentation and straight talk, and give people room to shape how AI is used in advertising.
The role
You will own the creative side of our managed service, from the moment a client is onboarded to the finished ad. You turn client goals and performance data into clear briefs, direct the creators and editors who make the work, check quality before it ships, and work with our leading AI ad tech to decide what to make next. The core Joops.ai team is based in Toronto and ideally you have proximity to be in-office 3+ days per week. We will consider candidates who are a perfect fit for a remote role in US and Canada as well.
What you'll do
- Turn client goals and ad performance data into briefs that creators and editors can run with: the hooks, the angles, the formats and the calls to action.
- Tee up creative briefs and direction in an organized, repeatable way for creators and editors, set timelines, and review quality before anything reaches the client.
- Keep delivery on schedule across several accounts at once. Flag risks to the business leaders early and tell the team plainly where capacity stands.
- Help identify recruit and onboard creators and editors, give direct and friendly feedback, and build a reliable bench by keeping the best and letting the rest go.
- Work with the account managers to understand each client's goals and capacity, and keep them informed.
- Learn what Joops AI's generation tools and performance feedback loop can do, use them well, and tell the product team what would make them better.
- Stay ahead of platform formats, creative trends and creator behavior, so the work stays fresh and competitive.
What you'll bring
Required
- 3-5 years in paid creative strategy, creative operations, production coordination, or account management closely tied to creative teams.
- Hands-on experience making or editing short-form and UGC-style video, in tools such as CapCut, Higgsfield, Creatify or similar creative platforms. You can show us examples.
- Experience running or reading paid social creative on Meta, TikTok, AppLovin or similar platforms, and comfort explaining results like CTR, CPA and ROAS in plain language.
- Experience managing creators, editors or freelancers, or a client account, or both, including giving direct, friendly feedback.
- Strong organization: you keep timelines, feedback and deliverables straight across several projects without dropping details.
- Clear writing and speaking, including with clients.
- A real wish to work at a startup: you wear several hats, learn fast and pitch in where needed.
Preferred
- Background in direct-to-consumer or mobile app marketing, at a creative, social or performance agency or on a brand-side team.
- A personal connection to creator content, such as former creator or influencer work, or editing Reels or Stories to drive a result.
- Experience using AI tools in creative work, or clear curiosity about them.
- Time at a technology startup, helping bring ground-level experience back into product and process improvements.
- A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
