Position: Technical Business Analyst – Application & Repository Management

We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst / Business Systems Analyst with 8+ years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, application portfolio management, or related technology functions.
The role will focus on gathering and managing application-to-repository mappings, reconciling data across enterprise platforms, defining data governance and business processes, and supporting repository security, vulnerability management, and release governance.
The ideal candidate will have strong requirements and stakeholder management skills combined with working knowledge of GitHub, Bitbucket, ServiceNow APM/CMDB, CI/CD, and DevSecOps processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, document, validate, and maintain application-to-repository mapping requirements.
- Build and maintain relationships between applications, repositories, application owners, support teams, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Reconcile application and repository data across GitHub, Bitbucket, ServiceNow, CMDBs, spreadsheets, and other enterprise systems.
- Identify and resolve missing, duplicate, inaccurate, or conflicting application and repository information.
- Define and document data mapping rules, business processes, governance standards, and exception-handling procedures.
- Support requirements related to repository security, vulnerability management, and release-gating controls.
- Facilitate workshops with developers, application owners, security teams, DevOps teams, and other stakeholders.
- Analyze business and technical processes and translate requirements into clear functional documentation.
- Create process flows, requirements documentation, traceability artifacts, and UAT documentation.
- Support UAT activities, requirement validation, issue resolution, and stakeholder sign-off.
- Maintain audit-ready documentation and support governance and compliance activities.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Business Systems Analysis, Systems Analysis, Application Portfolio Management, DevOps Support, or Service Management; 10+ years preferred.
- Strong experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Technical Business Analyst.
- Strong expertise in requirements gathering, requirements documentation, process analysis, and stakeholder management.
- Experience with data mapping, data reconciliation, data governance, and metadata management.
- Working knowledge of GitHub, Bitbucket, source code repositories, branching strategies, and repository ownership models.
- Experience with ServiceNow Application Portfolio Management (APM), CMDB, Asset Management, or Configuration Management.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps processes, security controls, and vulnerability management workflows.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, facilitation, and documentation skills.
