In 2017, Mary Futher, was one of ten female founders selected by SEPHORA across the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Brazil to participate in their SEPHORA Accelerate program. This exclusive mentorship program was created to support female entrepreneurs in all areas of the beauty industry with a focus on social impact.

OUR BACKSTORY:

In 2009, Mary Futher left her career in corporate beauty and set out to create her own clean beauty brand. Being a busy travelling senior executive Mary often found herself reaching for traditional makeup wipes, but would find they constantly irritated her eyes. Soon Mary began digging deeper into the ingredients used in her everyday beauty products and was shocked to find all the toxic ingredients she was putting onto her body every day.

Launching first with juicy bamboo cleansing cloths, the brand has expanded to create more award-winning products like the takesumi detox® charcoal deodorants, the underarm bar, the sweat powder, the takesumi bright collection, the takesumi detox® overnight dry shampoo, and the vitamin cleanse.
